Philip McGowan
A former manager at renowned modeling agency, IMG for 12 years, McGowan has more than 15 years experience traveling domestically and internationally scouting and developing some of today’s top supermodels including: Frida Gustavsson, Ajak Deng, Jasmine Tookes, Sessilee Lopez and more. Over his esteemed career, McGowan has worked with “Avatar” star, Zoe Saldana, landing her covers for major fashion magazines, as well as a feature for Jay Z's clothing line Rocawear. Philip has transitioned over to his first passion photography and partnered with Harlem native Courtney Frederick Douglas to documenting that true essence of raw vision like one of his role models Gordon Parks.

Introducing Harlem based photographer, Courtney Douglas. Courtney was drawn to photography as a young Harlemite who realized that beauty is not conventional. Courtney’s first discovery came through the raw imagery of the urban landscape that Harlem represents. From it’s historical landmarks like the Apollo Theatre & Hotel Theresa, to the Hudson & East River shorelines, which border Harlem from the East and West. Courtney learned early on, that beauty is not surface, but rather an emotion conveyed through perspective. Courtney’s passion is to help shape your perspective through his photography.
Together, Phil and Courtney bring a unique, raw and edgy view to photography. Whether it be a high fashion shoot, or a modest family photo, these two have learned to capture and convey the story and emotion through their images.
